I'm Azra, an Afghanistan refugee living in Hong Kong for 10 years, the identity of whom can now be recognized by more of you, through this website I developed with some highly dedicated people. My identity is no longer enslaved to an A4 paper.

A New Identity

​

At first, I had enough of being inexplicably stopped, just as most refugees here often experience, and asked for my only identification, Recognizance Document (行街紙), an A4 paper that documented all my information. I really expected there could be some room for me to express those sentiments unknown to the most public, and soon I set out on it.

 

Yet gradually, as more blogs were posted, I found I could actually give a hand to people similar to me through this uncomplicated media, besides more stories can be spread, of our values, true grit, and being a man, a home seeker.

We are not receiving any donations for helping refugees. But we really expect that more relevant stories, experiences, or even some thoughts after viewing this website could be shared by you, which can greatly help us enrich this website. In addition, any suggestion or comment is welcome to help us build a better blog website. If you have the capacity, please do try to lend a helping hand to the refugees in need. After all, we are a family：)
